What's an elopement & why should you choose Paris or Provence to elope?
An elopement is an intimate symbolic wedding ceremony, religious or non-religious, usually just the couple, but sometimes with some family or friends attending. Elopements are also known as small, destination weddings. Some couples read their vows to each other, others love the services of an officiant or celebrant. It's very personal, and meaningful and focuses solely on the couple and their special day.
Paris is the world's most romantic city, with magnificent monuments, gardens, and iconic sights such as the Eiffel Tower. It's a wonderful place for an elopement. Provence is a dreamy region in southern France, filled with charm, beautiful nature, and relaxation and a million fun things to do, or, do nothing at all. It's for couples passionate about fine living and sunshine.

Visit a vineyard, try the delicious Provence olive oil at a Provençal market, go hiking in the Luberon or Alpilles mountains. Near the town of Saint-Remy de Provence, not far from Avignon and Arles, lies a gorgeous old town on a rock, complete with stunning views of olive groves and a mountain backdrop. Dreamy Elopements in the Lavender
Dream of saying "I Do" in a lavender field?
The lavender that blooms in Provence is world famous for its beauty, and of course, its intoxicating scent. An elopement here is an otherworldy experience. But timing is everything if this is your dream, as the lavender typically only blooms from the end of June to mid-July, before its cut and harvested to make essential oils and other products. So if this is your dream, let's plan your elopement to take full advantage!

Do you love the sun, the sea, and the gentle sound of the waves? Then an elopement on the French Riviera, also known as the Cote d'Azur, may be just what you'd love for your elopement in France.
I'll help you select a wonderful location by the sea, and you have lots of choices. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Villefranche sur Mer, and Antibes are three of the most popular spots for a French Riviera elopement. If you're more into a city vibe, Nice is also gorgeous, and has all the big city amenities.
This is truly a honeymoon location, too. You can participate in a lot of activities and sightseeing, or just relax, have a great meal, and read a book. Most of the French Riviera is rocky beach, but you can find sandy beaches in Cannes and outside St. Tropez.

There are a number of private terraces and balconies, both in hotels and home rentals, that offer views of the Eiffel Tower and can be rented for a fee. Some couples prefer a more private setting for their elopement ceremony.

Paris is famous for its gardens, and you have many choices. The Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens are the most popular, but the gardens of the Palais Royal are as well, tucked behind the Louvre Museum.
Most couples getting married in Paris prefer a view of the Eiffel Tower. Trocadero Gardens is a popular spot for elopements, but it gets so busy later in the day, plan on a morning elopement for the best experience. In addition to Trocadero, there are many other lovely spots for your elopement with magnificent Eiffel Tower views!

We want to elope in Paris or Provence, but we're not sure where, can you help us plan?
With so many options, it can be confusing to decide on where to elope, especially if you've never been to Paris or Provence. In addition to my free Elopement Planners, I offer a complimentary 20-minute WhatsApp call to learn more about you and determine the very best place for your elopement!
What type of elopement is possible?
While you can certainly privatize a location for your elopement, such as a hotel terrace, most couples love an outdoor elopement with a view of the Eiffel Tower or in a Paris garden. Elopements in Paris usually take place in the morning, before too many people wake up, as Paris gets super busy! Paris elopements are perfect if you're into romantic city vibes, great restaurants and beautiful monuments and gardens. In Provence, the possibilities are endless. Most revolve around the beauty of nature, such as seaside, in a lavender field, or in an olive grove, or even in a forest or on a mounain. But don't count out a gorgeous view from a Provençal hilltop village. Provence is ideal if you'd like a more laid-back, relaxed nature vibe and an "authenic" French experience.
Can you help us arrange other vendors, such as flowers, makeup & hair, officiant?
Yes! All clients who have reserved me for their elopement will receive guidance on vendors who will make your day so special. This could include a makeup & hair artist, flowers, officiant/celebrant and more.
Can elopements be put together last minute?
Unlike traditional weddings, which take a long time to plan, elopements can be planned a bit more quickly. That said, in the busy summer months of June to August (particularly August), its best to plan ahead if you can, as hotels fill very quickly.
How much should we budget for our elopement?
While elopements are generally more budget friendly than a larger wedding back home, make sure you have enough budget o truly enjoy your day in that way that you like. Most couples budget between 2500€ - 5000€ on their elopement in France.
