Michael & Lilli | A cinematic surprise proposal in Paris
As a professional photographer in Paris, my style is always evolving. I’ve always preferred photo sessions in the morning, versus evening, because, of course, the light is so much better, and in the morning, there are fewer people out and about, making it much easier to get those romantic shots without people in the background, making it appear as if you have the world’s most visited city to yourselves.
However, there is a special magic in the night time, and in winter. As it often rains in Paris in the winter, you have the reflection of the water from the pavement, that creates a gorgeous sources of light. The rain is no problem either, because while it’s not often comfortable, everything looks like magic in the rain.
On this surprise proposal at night, we started at the Pont des Arts, the famous former love lock bridge. With magnificent views on both sides of the bridge, it’s charmingly Paris, and you feel like you’re in a movie. So, why not create cinematic artwork to treasure forever, from this special moment in your lives?
Paris, as they say, is always a good idea!
